HR Specialist / Team Lead for a renowned professional service MNC

This co is a world class professional service MNC which is a clear leader in its field.

 

In this role, you will reporting to the SEA HR Manager & SEA Professional Development Lead. You will provide HR Generalist support for the delivery of people initiatives for the firm’s consulting staff.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performance Review: 

•Lead the bi-annual performance calibration work stream end-to-end for the HR Team together with the

Professional Development SEA Lead, including preparation of the calibration materials for the Consulting Leadership team and own the compensation planning cycle which includes compensation administration after the review cycle

•Responsible for Human Capital Professional Development system (HCPD) administration and Acts as help-desk specialist to resolve issues and provide information to HCPD users

•Coordinate with the Staffing team to determine cases that have ended and initiate case-end reviews

•Quality check performance reviews based on local guidelines and escalate reviews containing performance issues and/or not written according to the firm’s standards

 

Reporting:

•Produce monthly summary reports, resource snapshots, and perform additional analysis as requested 

• Collate the monthly consulting headcount summary reporting updates for the finance team

 

Compensation & Benefits:

•Lead as the HR Payroll Liaison for the overall Consulting class to gather monthly payroll inputs from the HR Team members (including yourself) to be submitted to the Payroll team 

•Payroll and compliance management, including the bi-annual remuneration and bonus reviews for a subset of the consulting employees in SEA

•Manage the insurance renewals/remarketing exercise with insurance brokers 

•Review, assess and execute employee welfare and awards program achieving employee satisfaction and cost targets. 

•Respond to employee questions on benefits and resolve claims issues

•Enter benefits data into HR system on a timely basis

 

Onboarding / Offboarding

Responsible for the onboarding of a subset of the Consulting employees to ensure proper integration and training

•Coordinates departure process for a subset of the Consulting employees to ensure smooth transitions:

 

•HR Administration

•Maintain both hardcopy and softcopy files to ensure all employee files are kept up to date with all relevant offer letters, contracts, and agreements

•Processing and coordination of employment memos (LOA, Bain Flex, Case Demand Transfer Business School contracts, etc.) including subsequent HR system updates in Workday

•Trigger for work visa applications (where required)

 

•Other duties

•Leave system management for a subset of the Consulting class

•Perform other duties and projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictate, including backup cover for other team members.

 

•Coach & mentor HR Team members

•Coaches and mentor other HR team members 

•Mentorship and professional development, including team morale and retention

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors’ Degree with at least 7-12 years of HR experience in a fast-paced, high-touch and demanding work environment, preferably with some experience working within the Professional Services industry or similar within SEA (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia & Thailand)

•Well-versed with statutory labor law requirements in at least one or all of the countries within SEA (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia & Thailand)

•Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 

•Working knowledge of Workday and TIMES preferred but not a must

Compensation salary benchmarking and salary review experience is mandatory 

•Experience with Insurance renewals/remarketing exercise with insurance vendors is highly preferred but not a must
