Professional Experience

Caroline Poh is a Singapore CA with more than 20 years of executive recruitment and search experience. She has established her credibility as the “go-to finance search specialist” in recruitment and search for mid to senior level finance roles in Singapore.

Prior to establishing CAP Consulting in 2014, she was the Head of Finance recruitment with an international recruitment MNC for 15 years.  During her tenure in this firm, she was the only consultant who was awarded the Global Chairman’s Award 4 times. In 2008, she was awarded the Inaugural Hall of Fame Award due to her consistently outstanding contribution.

In addition, she established her credibility in the Singapore recruitment industry for achieving an impressive S$2 million per annum personal revenue billings (consistently over a period of 8 years) due to her excellent network and her success in delivering solutions to clients within short time frames.

Prior to joining the search industry, Caroline worked with world class organisations including Arthur Andersen (now known as Ernst & Young) as an auditor and Esso Singapore (now known as ExxonMobil) in finance and internal controls roles.

Caroline specialises in recruiting finance/accounting professionals locally and regionally. She covers these positions across various industries including Financial Institutions, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Industrial, High-Tech, Energy, Real Estate, Commodities and others.

In addition, she and her team have successfully placed non-finance roles including General Management, Corporate Affairs, HR, Sales & Marketing, Risk, Technology, Business Development, Legal, Investment etc.

She is also an advocate of career planning and in her capacity as a career facilitator/coach, she assists individuals seeking insights to self-awareness, personal development and career management.  

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling with her family and jogs and swims to keep fit.

Education/Affiliations

Caroline Poh graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree (Second Upper Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University in 1994. She also has a MBA degree from Imperial College, UK completed in 2001.

She is also a NCDA (USA) Certified Career Development Facilitator.
