Treasury Associate (12 mths contract) with renowned financial institution

Our client is a financial institution. This is a 12 mth contract in the Treasury Department. There will be 2 mths completion bonus at the end of 1 yr for a good performer.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Debt Capital Market (DCM)

  • Monitor global interest rates market and provide analytic support for interest rates analysis required in various DCM processes and decision making
  • Conduct DCM market study covering debt products such as Medium Term Note (MTN) and Euro Commercial Paper (ECP) and Exchangeable Bonds
  • Develop models to track bond market pricing and secondary bond data used for various internal reporting
  • Track the firm’s liability position and develop necessary portfolio reporting
  • Coordinate and work with banks on internal data analytics requirement and market information

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with drafting standard operating process (SOP) for all DCM related processes
  • Develop analytics on DCM banking relationship

 

                       

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

 

  • Good Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or Banking from a recognized university with about 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Preferably with prior research experience and ability to handle complex database
  • Top notch Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with skills in VBA a plus
  • Possess strong analytical skills with ability to translate findings into powerpoint presentation
  • Direct DCM experience from banks or corporates a plus but not a must
  • Proactive, analytical, meticulous and detailed oriented, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Good team player with ability to work independently
