About the Role
The Brand workstream, under the Public Affairs team, requires a brand executive and PowerPoint specialist to support day to day branding/design/creative requirements and requests on the development of content assets to better tell the firm’s story across internal and external stakeholder groups and platforms.
Responsibilities would include overseeing and managing the processes relating to the vetting and approving of brand related collaterals, as well as requests to create assets and content such as PowerPoint presentations, EDMs, ads, and campaign creatives.
The individual is expected to provide creative support to other workstreams within Public Affairs, the wider SSG, as well as the Investment Group Office, on marketing communications related projects. He or she is to also ensure that work is on-target, creative, and provides accurate and engaging visuals to articulate the project narrative or to tell the firm’s story better to internal and external audiences.
Role and Responsibilities
Work closely with Brand team and appointed brand agency on overall Corporate identity that would be visualised through internal and external communication assets. This would include the development of the corporate visual style guide and brand templates
Work closely with the Public Affairs team, project teams, as well as relevant vendors, in developing concepts, illustrations, and data visualisations through graphics, layouts, charts, tables, graphs, etc., for relevant creatives and collaterals
Work closely with the Public Affairs and project teams to develop engaging PowerPoint presentations and relevant communications materials (such as infographics) for diverse audiences and platforms, such as institutional presentations by senior management as well as investment pitch decks
Conduct necessary research and develop concepts and mock-ups for assignments as needed.
Distill and translate quantitative and qualitative data, ideas and concepts into compelling stories, through the designing and building of dynamic and complex data visualisation assets in support of narrative
Ensure that all work meets corporate brand standards and quality, with graphs, charts, tables, etc., all accurately and consistently presented.
Qualities, Competencies and Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Information Design, Data Visualisation, Data Journalism or related field preferred
At least 3 years of relevant experience in graphic design, data visualisation, information design and information architecture or related field
Some experience working in a large corporate environment a plus
Expert level of knowledge in PowerPoint including use of master templates, color themes, animations, transitions, hyperlinking, actions, and/or video, as well as in creating charts and graphs
Excellent skills in presentation style related software, such as MS PowerPoint and Adobe, with advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programmes including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Professional; Adobe Muse, Animate, Prezi, Keynote, web design and HTML5 a plus
Good written and spoken English, with good communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous with strong visual communication and design skills (e.g., demonstrated mastery of typography, colour and layout) across multiple content asset types including those for computer and mobile platforms
Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate in a fast paced environment and multi-task/work on different projects simultaneously, delivering results with speed and quality, with minimum supervision
Strong presentation design portfolio with samples of recent work

Able to commit to a 12 month contract (2 months completion bonus will be offered to a cand who completes the contract and achieves the KPIs). The contract may be extended for another 6 months after the 12 mth period.
