Our client is a renowned and global investment firm with an international presence. Key responsibilities:
Debt Investor Relations (IR)
- Lead development and execution of IR strategy for
- institutional investor engagement
- retail investor engagement
drawing on in-depth understanding of debt capital markets, debt products and debt investors
- Lead cross-functional team and drive engagement with stakeholders (including regulators/banks) regarding development of various aspects of Singapore’s debt capital markets, including regulations/policies
- Lead development of messaging and content for investor presentations and other stakeholder engagement material
- Lead in-house planning and execution of global debt investor meetings
- Lead planning and execution of communications strategy for the firm’s Bond issuances
Sustainability/ESG
§ Drive assessment of the sustainability/ESG landscape with respect to debt and sustainability/ESG ratings, and develop strategy for the firm
Other portfolios
May be assigned other portfolio/projects in future covering Credit Analysis, dealing with credit rating agencies on discussions regarding the firm’s ratings as well as rating methodologies
Requirements
- Min 9 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with debt investor relations OR debt capital markets OR bond issuance is required.
- Relevant experience can be gained in DCM within banking, or the IR department with large institutes. Or you have exp gained in a financial communication agency with experience working on bond issuance projects.
- Recognised Degree qualification in Finance /Economics /Business /Engineering. Additional major in Mass Communications/Marketing a bonus (but not a must)
- Enjoys working on a large variety of topics
- Experience in running large scale/high profile events (e.g. organising investors’ meetings/conferences etc) advantageous
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Has a strong command of English
- Numerate, analytical and comfortable working with large amounts of data in Excel.
- Very detailed and thorough
- Excellent PowerPoint skills, including basic PowerPoint animation
- Creative and with strong attention to details & colours
- Driven, self-starter, adaptable, teachable, able to guide juniors, able to multi-task well in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Able to deal with ambiguity
- Good team player with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders and senior management
