Our client is a Singapore not-for-profit organisation in the healthcare sector. It is based in town.
Broad Function
Reporting directly to Director Corporate Planning, the role oversees the organisation’s Financial Planning & Analysis portfolio and is responsible for the organisation’s Budget Management, Resource Management, Re-prioritisation of Projects, Expenditure Tracking.
As a Finance Business Partner, the incumbent must also engage and partner leaders to practice strong budget management and expenditure.
Key Responsibilities and Desired Outcomes
(A) Financial Planning & Analysis
• Create strategic budgeting to drive business success towards the organisation’s vision and purpose
• Improve on Divisions’ budget marksmanship and build strong rapport with funders through the use of data analytics for sound decision-making
• Maximise resource reallocation to achieve best outcome and propose for reprioritisation of projects for better ROI
• Build and lead the Business Partner team to navigate the business and regulatory environment that the organization works in
• Develop and implement overall strategy on fund utilization and resource planning
(B) Strategic Partnership
• Build strong rapport with Divisions and Divisions Chief to achieve Divisions’ business objectives by leveraging data to make sound financial decisions
• Lead a team of Finance Business Partners to partner and rovide financial expertise and advice to business leaders to successfully achieve business
objectives
• Partner business leaders in inculcating a strong culture of financial prudence and governance
• Collaborate with Divisions and obtain feedback to improve financial processes and policies
Qualifications
• A CPA with a degree in Finance or Accountancy-related field from a recognized University
• At least 15 years of working experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with at least 5 years of experience in leading teams
• Has proven track record in Business Partnering within complex and matrixed organisations
• A highly motivated self-starter and versatile team player, with strong ability to mobilise and influence teams for cross-divisional projects
• Adapts comfortably to change and sees him/herself as a change agent to rive improvements and innovation in the organisation
• Possesses strong leadership and effective communications skills
• Excellent analytical and financial skills, meticulous and independent
• Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
• Experience in system implementation
• Able to Close collaborate with Finance peers from other organisations within the public healthcare cluster
