Operations Process Analyst for a MNC (based in town)

  • Analyst role focusing on Documentation, Database Management, and Process Management
  • Ensure efficieny of process by applying Lean business principles to business model within operations
  • Maintain database structures to ensure the accuracy of stock and sales information is maintained from intake to invoicing
 

Our client is a renowned and global MNC. For this role, you report to the Senior Ops Mgr (overseeing production and logistics) and are responsible for accurate gathering and maintenance of process information for the Operations department. This is a systems and data focused role covering the following:

 

Process Management / Measurement / Improvement

  • Work with Operations and Sales subject matter experts to ensure all processes in the Operations environment from Purchasing Intakes, Product Creation, Consignment shipping, Viewing and Invoicing are process mapped consistently to an agreed format and are up to date.
  • Review the end to end processes for efficiency and robustness, propose improvements and plan implementation with the staff in the Operations team and other departments.
  • Ensure changes and improvements to operations are planned and processed mapped using Lean business principles.

 

Database Management

  • Controlling the maintenance and updates of databases that support the systems used by the Operations team
  • Ensuring all tables for Excel functions, Fantasy product tables and SADE product mappings are accurate and fully functional.
  • Ensuring the alignment and correct transfer of client data from Salesforce to Fantasy.

 

Operations Data Control

  • Control and improve the data handling and interfaces between different systems and sources of data
  • Perform data integrity checks on the above data to ensure that data is correct and that different systems reconcile.

 

Operations Performance Measurement

  • Design efficient processes to capture the appropriate data for recording on a consistent basis the activity levels and performance of the Operations function.  
  • Prepare numerical and graphical analysis of the data to interpret and present the data.
  • Use the outcome to identify required intervention and process improvement opportunities.

Product Management / Measurement

  • Design repeatable and efficient processes to capture the appropriate data for presentation of information to demonstrate the Standard Specifications.  
  • Use the outcome to identify process improvement opportunities.

 

Education/Qualifications/Training:

  • “A” level education or degree qualified. Must be highly numerate and strong on excel and systems and database.
  • Some knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (but not a must) to ensure that processes are efficient
  • High level IT skills
  • High level skill with MS Excel, Viseu, Word.
  • Ideally experience with a Business Process management software application, to ensure that info is structured and controllerd
  • Logical thought processes to be able to resolve complex problems.
  • The ability to work through a problem and independently come up with options for a solution.
  • Experience of process mapping, process improvement and change management
  • Experience with handling large volumes of data with 100% accuracy
  • Ability to work in a busy environment with competing priorities to deadlines.
  • Good communication and relationship building skills.
