• Oversee and drive functional excellence of all branches within the sub-region
• Have an oversight of the accounting operations and ensure it is in compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
• Lead the annual budget and monthly forecast process
• Provide commercial finance support to drive business performance and growth.  Develop and improve performance reporting to identify opportunities for business to drive action towards profit improvement, cost reduction, cash flow optimization etc.
• Act as change agent to identify new and best practices, drive implementation of new requirements and continuous process improvements.
• Manage revenue recognition and customer contract reviews
• Other minor aspects: credit management policies/processes and Transfer pricing, bank relationship matters
• Hire, develop and retain talent.  Build a sustainable finance organisation structure and ensure resources are in place to support business growth and expansion in the sub-region.

You are self-driven, positive, outgoing, assertive, independent, a versatile team player and strong leader who is able to motivate and manage a team located in different countries.  You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to positively influence others and build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

 Key requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications with CPA/CA status with at least 12 years finance/accounting experience, some of which is  gained at the manager level with a MNC . Now operating as the regional finance manager/controller
• Prior business partnering skills is required, with some years gained as a regional FP&A person
• Possess experience interacting with senior managements and multiple stakeholders, with the strong ability to navigate in a matrix organization
• Prior exposure to emerging countries in SE Asia is required
• Exposure to a less structured , fluid or dynamic MNC work environment is preferred
• Relevant industry exposure to the industrial, manufacturing or IT hardware/software industry preferred.
• Strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of Oracle R12, Hyperion and US GAAP is a plus 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with colleagues across the region and the globe
• Hands-on with strong problem-solving, decision making and analytical skills. Strong people skills and collaboration/influencing skills is required
• Looking for a self-starter, self-motivated, outgoing, assertive, independent and versatile team player. Possess good ability to lead discussions, meetings and complex issues.
• Adaptable to changes
• Travel expected (below 10%) within SEA can be expected
