Internal Auditor required for a Healthcare MNC (Travel of 50%)

  • Open to strong Big 4 auditors (although IA exp will be advantageous)

Our client is a renowned Pharma MNC. It is now looking to hire an experienced internal auditor to be part of its audit team based in Singapore covering mainly APAC audits. This person will be tasked to lead assignments within a year. The travel is around 50% of the time across countries. You will be part of the IA team to cover the following objectives: 

 

  • Identify and monitor risks with a structured approach focused on the Group and business stakes 
  • Assess the adequacy and efficiency of processes and the compliance with established policies, rules and procedures, laws and regulations; 
  • Assess the effectiveness of business processes, functions and projects, in accordance with strategic, operational and financial concerns of the organization; 
  • Examine the accuracy, reliability, completeness and traceability of information (financial, management…); 
  • Identify Best Practices and suggest improvements for the organization 
  • You will be involved in ensuring risk based audit approach and perform a reliable audit work on each assignment. You will have to ensure efficient communication and be involved in internal trainings on audit programs and providing support to the IA management on the audit plan processes and on specific assignment pre-scoping. 


To qualify, you should possess the following criteria: 

  • Degree qualified with around 5 to 9 years of audit exposure, including some years gained in a regional IA function with strong technical audit skills. 
  • Financial and/or operational flows skills / knowledge is essential 
  • CA and CPA preferred 
  • International exposure and/or experience. 
  • Confident, and articulate with strong people and stakeholder management skills 
  • Looking for a candidate with Mandarin proficiency (as China is a key market) or other Asia language 
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time 
  • Able to show empathy and be assertive when required 
  • Energetic and passionate about an IA role
