P&L Controller with a Pharma MNC

  • Strong on P&L analysis and controlling

Our client is a renowned and international MNC.

 

For this role, you will look into the analytical aspects of the Pivot/Flow of goods by categories understand the main drivers of the Pivot profitability. This role is in charge of the P&L of the Pivot/Flow of Goods and ensures that the appropriate remuneration for the Pivot entity and its counterparts is in accordance with their respective risks and functions. In addition, you will analyze the profitability by basket, country of destination and product platform.

 

Reporting to the Head of Pivot, you will deliver added value throughout the organization and ensure strong and efficient relationships with other stakeholders in Pivot, Product Financial Flows and Finance teams.  Other responsibilities include:

 

  • Participate in projects focused on management and optimization of financial flows.
  • Set up and monitor the Pivot/Flow of Goods P&L including services, royalties, P&L’s variances, etc.
  • Financial management of the Pivot /Flow of Goods entity:
    • Booking of accruals for Royalties and services recharges to the Pivot (Corporate and Industrial Central Costs, Regional Costs, etc.)
    • Proper allocation of the operational costs by Management Centre (FX variances, distribution, transport, etc.)
    • Ensure the compliance with the model defined by the group (TP, Royalties, Costs allocation, etc.)
    • Provide economical and financial data of the Pivot for regional studies
    • Ensure the compliance with the model defined by the group
    • Reporting, Budget, Forecast and trend of Management Centres  and Pivot team.

 

 

Requirements such as:

 

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting with min 8 to 9 years of experience in similar MNCs and in a cross matrix environment
  • Strong P&L and controlling experience required
  • Supply Chain, Tax/transfer pricing knowledge is useful but not a must
  • Strong on Excel (including V look up, tables)
  • Reliable and details oriented. Has a stable cv
  • Strong communications and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to deal with senior management
  • Able to manage transversal relationships in an international environment; able to deal with confidential/sensitive data
  • Actively seeks feedback to identify opportunities for improvement; self-driven
  • Is a strong communicator and is able to deal with tight timelines
  • SAP, HFM, SAFE (Transfer Pricing tool), MARCO (consolidation tool) and Microsoft Office preferred
