Our client is a large and global SGX listed company. Reporting to the CFO, you will head the treasury team and manage a small team. Core treasury functions include Investment, Fx exposure, Cash Management and Capital Structure as follows:

              

• Overall in charge of group wide treasury functions
• Manage foreign exchange exposure through natural hedge balancing and effective forex hedging
• Monitor and manage group’s loans and intercompany borrowings;
• Monitor group’s cash flow and prepare the forecast
• Perform cash management activities and investment of funds to generate positive returns
• Provide financial market analysis and obtain updates on latest developments;
• Ongoing development of group’s treasury policy manual and processes

 

Requirements :

• Degree in Accountancy / Business / Finance degree from reputable universities. CFA qualification an advantage
• Minimum 5 year relevant experience in a Treasury role with at least 3 year experience in a managerial role
• Experience doing the investment function gained as a treasury person
• Prior experience working in a SGX company or a stat board is useful (but not a must)
• Strong problem solving skills and analytical abilities
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills
• Good written and spoken English
• A hands-on person, meticulous , resourceful, positive and energetic with initiative and excellent motivational skills
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills with ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
•  Hands-on and career focused
• Strong on excel
• Mature, with the ability to interact with senior management
