Senior Finance/ FP&A Mgr role with a large SGX listed company

Our client is a large and global SGX listed company. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the financial planning and analysis function of the group businesses.  You will also act as a business partner to the senior management team on all financial issues, explore potential business opportunities and manage a range of ad-hoc projects.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the group’s management reporting function
  • Responsible for the monthly review of the group’s performance with effective analysis of the income statement including revenue, gross margins and cost management.
  • Responsible for financial tracking, forecasting and review of the group’s performance against approved financial plan.
  • Support benchmarking of the group’s financial and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives
  • Perform balance sheet review of the group’s subsidiaries to ensure appropriate accounting treatments have been consistently applied.
  • Responsible for tracking the group’s working capital position and working closely with the subsidiaries to achieve a lean working capital structure.
  • Responsible for reviewing the group’s insurance matters
  • Responsible for reviewing capital investment proposals to ensure that required return-on-Investment are achieved.
  • Participate in the group’s annual budgeting exercise.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial information as well as compliance with statutory reporting.
  • Ensure timely management reporting, forecasting and analysis.
  • Motivate and lead the staff in enhancing their skills and capabilities

 

Requirements :

  • Degree in Accountancy / Professional qualification with ACCA / CIMA / CPA
  • Total of min 15 years, with minimum 5 years of relevant FP&A experience (including business partnering, budgeting, forecasting etc) with min 3 years in a managerial capacity
  • Exposure to a SGX listed company will be useful
  • SAP or other ERP system knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills
  • Good leadership qualities, ambitious and go-getter attitude
  • A hands-on person, meticulous , resourceful, positive and energetic with initiative and excellent motivational skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
  • Mature and strong team player with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Hands-on and career focused
  • Strong on excel
