Our client is a renowned and global player in the FI industry. They are now hiring for a 6 mth contract accountant to do the following:

 

Accounts (80%)

 

• Keeping full set of books for a group of companies (> 20 ) holding investments Centralised posting of journals

 

• Management reporting & Simple Consolidation Audit related work for YE 1617

 

• Involvement in various centralised projects across the investment accounting clusters

 

 

Others (20%)

 

• Preparation of slides for management reporting purposes Updating of management reports

 

• Other work as assigned

 

 

 

Requirements

• Accounting Graduate or equivalent (ACCA level 2 or 3)

 

• Prior work experience in Financial Services Industry (Asset Management will be an added advantage)

 

• Strong in financial accounting and able to keep full set of accounts Experience in the preparation of statutory audited accounts

 

• Prior system knowledge like SAP, Hyperion preferred though not essential Positive attitude, meticulous and an eye for detail
