Our client is an established technology conglomerate. An opportunity not exists for a business partnering FP&A mgr to join its team. You will manage a team of 4 and perform the following:
Provide technical expertise in the delivery of sound business/financial solutions with regards to operational, tactical and strategic decision facing of Division/Group
Provide leadership of core financial reporting functions which include management reporting, budgetary control, policy deployment/development
Provide critical financial and operational information to Mgt and make recommendations on both operations and strategy to enhance financial performance
Partner with Business Group Senior Management to drive business and financial performance
Co-ordinate long term operational and Strategic planning and resource allocation for the business group
Provide timely and accurate analysis of budget, financial trends and forecasts
CAPEX Reviews and monitoring of return of investments, cash flow etc
Prepare short and long term financial forecasts, financial modeling
Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financials, statutory, audit and tax reporting / requirements
Qualification and Experiences :
Finance Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 8 to 14 yrs of related FP&A and business partnering experience.
Related industry exposure to IT or telco or technology preferred but not a must
Have worked with senior management with direct involvement for the overall financial performance of the business.
Proven strong managerial and leadership qualities with strong communication skills
Commercially oriented with high energy and a “Can-do” attitude
Operationally in tune with the business with a keen eye for analysis and details
Possess business acumen and strong commercial sense
Ability to strike a good cost control balance between cost control and value adding
Able to demonstrate commercial acumen re improving business performance at a strategic and practical level (vs simply reporting numbers)
High calibre individual with excellent communication skills and is able to liaise with non-financial shareholders
Driven, sharp, results oriented with strong understanding of business operations and key drivers
SAP experience; data mining application (eg Essbase, Business Object) required
Good experience on business re-engineering process, and some knowledge of FRS standard
Knowledge of building structure database
