M&A, Corporate Strategic Planning Mgr or Senior Mgr with Telco Conglomerate

  • At least 4 to 9 years exp in Financial modelling or analysis
  • Proven track record in deal originations and overseeing M&A deals 
  • Familiar with TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) industries and the Enterprise space is useful but not a must

 

 

Specific Responsibilities:

• Responsible for origination and constructing a pipeline of targets, in accordance with the company’s M&A framework, with focus on the enterprise space

•Understand the business model of targets, filter out and assess business and strategic fit based on our company’s business lines and financial profile

•Lead the M&A process, including conducting business and financial due diligence on potential target companies.

•Construct financial valuation models

•Prepare investment proposals for approval

•Work with other internal stakeholders (e.g. business leads, legal teams, etc) to oversee the deal process from end to end

•Any other related projects or analysis assigned by the supervisor

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in any discipline 

At least 4 to 9 years experience in Financial modelling or analysis

• Proven track record in overseeing M&A deals  and deal origination

•Familiar with TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) industries and the Enterprise space within the TMT industry is a nice to have but not a must

• Strong in Excel and Powerpoint

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

• Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

•Strong Business Acumen: Most important requirement is a strong business perspective as this role will be very results-oriented

• Collaborative: Must understand how to collaborate in a 360 degrees manner – with peers, juniors, and across departments and silos

•Analytical Skills: Possess a strategic mindset and an ability to convert complex problems into pragmatic, practical solutions for execution

•Quick learner: Must have ability to quickly grasp and understand the business fundamentals and drivers 

•Driving for Results: Must understand how to drive to results in a large organization, with multiple stakeholders

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels both internally and externally

•Strong commercial skills

•Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, ability to successfully multi-task, and be open to new ideas

•Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail

•A self-starter who is highly motivated, having passion and drive

•Excellent time management and decision-making skills

•Persistent and goal-oriented with a ‘can do’ problem-solving style
