This co is a world class professional service MNC which is a clear leader in its field.

 

For this role in the Southeast Asia HR team, you will perform a HR Generalist role with accountability to provide operational and administrative support to manage policies, procedures, and create and maintain necessary documentation throughout the employee life-cycle.

 

This is a 3 month contract role with a good chance for turning perm re a strong performer.

 

Specific tasks:

 

Handling EP/ immigration matters (70% of the time)

Being the subject matter expert immigration advisor and hands on immigration application (Renewals and cancellations) and follow up for Singapore Employment Pass, Thailand and Malaysia work permits.

 

Handling on-boarding matters (20%)

This will occur approx 4 times a year. Cover all aspects of on boarding including flight and hotel bookings for overseas joiners.  

 

Weekly meeting slide deck prep & collation (10%)

– be the overall lead to collate info from various personnel and update on people movements (exit, leaver, transfer) for HR and Office meetings.

-ad-hoc temp hire- liaising with Recruiting vendors to hire freelancers to help with street surveys, data entry

-work on ther admin tasks, like collating monthly Benefits claim report etc.

 

Qualifications

Bachelors’ Degree.  1 year HR experience in a diverse and multicultural MNC work environment a bonus.

•Track record in building relationships across varied stakeholders

Strong customer service, organization, interpersonal and communication skills required;

•Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite – Powerpoint, Excel and Word.

•Ability to deal appropriately with highly-confidential information; ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Able to manage the time-sensitive and labour intensive process of the immigration work , sending chasers to employees who are frequently travelling.

• Meticulous, detailed, oriented, with excellent time management  and priority management skills.

• Exercise good judgement skills. Be resourceful and has  high EQ skills (know when to follow through, when to  hold back and when to escalate). Able to balance business needs and compliance requirements

•Needs to be on-the-ball, and conscientious with the required prompt/follow-up in advance of upcoming deadlines eg. payroll deadline, people movement tracker etc.
