Contracts administrator role with a renowned commodity trading MNC

  • Min 3 years of contract management experience
  • Relevant industry exposure to mining or commodities or shipping/logistics is required
  • Must have a good understanding of physical trading operations
 

In this role, you will play a hands-on role in contract administration. Reporting to a manager, key duties include:

  • Working within a physical commodity trading environment:
  • Issuing sales contracts across multiple commodities
  • Assessing and responding to counterparty contracts across multiple commodities
  • Liaising with different departments within the organisation to support the contract management

 

SKILLS

  • Around 3 to 10 years commodity trading contract management experience, preferably within a dedicated contract department
  • Must have a good understanding of physical trading operations, preferably of multi commodities
  • Added paralegal training background will be useful but this is not a must
  • Hands-on with good work attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and team skills
  • Able to work within an organised framework and designated deadlines
  • Strong level of written and spoken English
  • Good competence in Mandarin would be a bonus (given the involvement with the China office and Chinese customers).
