APAC Licensee Mgr for Luxury Sector

Our client is a renowned MNC in the diamond wholesale business.

 

For this role, you will part of the Licensee Markets business unit to grow the success of the brand to become the world’s leading diamond brand.

 

The licensee partners are appointed to stock and sell the diamond brand exclusively in their territory. In return they invest in marketing and commit to grow sales of the brand to become a net contributor to the co’s revenues by the end of the third year of business.

 

ROLE PURPOSE: 

 

-Focused on the APAC area. 

-Support the Head of Licensee Markets in delivering performance targets, through providing consultancy style advice and brand management to existing licensees. 

-Manage relationships with existing partners.

-Assist in identifying, assessing and launching new licenses.

-Ensure the co’s brand is presented in a manner consistent with brand guidelines in all uses.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS/MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Account Management

-Manage relationships with the licensees to ensure performance targets are met through successful partner businesses, supporting them with advice and insight.

-Manage the development of the brand in the region, ensuring partners are consistent with brand guidelines whilst inspiring innovation and growth.

-Work with mgt to identify opportunities to expand the brand in the region through new partners, models or approaches.

-Work with the central marketing team ensure that training is delivered effectively in the region, ensuring budgets are adhered to.

-Work with the Licensee Markets team support the growth of a global community of licensees, facilitating the sharing and implementation of best practice.

-Support regional partners in events and PR activities coordinating marketing materials, jewellery and key personnel.

-Co-ordinate launches and the implementation of new programmes and products with central marketing.

-Ensure that all regional licensees have their translation requirements for brand collateral in a timely fashion and within budget.

 

Team Functions

 -Manage the annual sales incentive programme for all licensees, ensuring budgetary control and effective implementation, working with the Accounts Executive.

-Manage the upload and analysis of sales data from licensees, working with the Accounts Executive.

- Support the budgeting and planning process of the team

-Contribute to delivery of key performance targets 

-Build a positive and constructive relationship with our partners in the region, based on sound commercial approaches

-Act as an ambassador for the brand internally and externally

-Provide partners with the central brand assets and support they require to grow sales and brand affinity with their customers  

                                              

                               

CANDIDATE PROFILE: 

-Degre qualified and has related account management and licensee experience gained in the luxury goods sector

- Passion for brands and consumer value.

- Good interpersonal skills across diverse cultures

-Sound commercial judgement with consumer focus

Able to travel across APAC region about 20% to 30% of the time

-Effective organiser and communicator with all key stakeholders -Marketing experience and understanding of the marketing mix

- Service oriented and numerate

-International exposure to teams/clients in other markets o Problem solver who works collaboratively to find solutions with both internal and external stakeholders

-Goal oriented with the ability to translate business requirements to all levels of the business as well as external customers

-Able to monitor and adjust plans accordingly as per business requirements
