For this role, you play a leading role in the team that seeks to utilize investments to drive social and environmental impact. The candidate should have experience in sustainability-driven investments, as well as an understanding of the global trends that are driving business opportunities in sustainability. The candidate will also play an important role in working with our investment teams to assess and understand sustainability-related trends, and how that will shape the opportunities and challenges affecting our portfolio.

 Responsibilities:  

• Identify and lead due diligence on potential sustainability-driven investment opportunities
• Lead efforts to measure impact  
• Develop thought leadership in the area of sustainable and responsible investing  
• Actively engage internal and external stakeholders  
• Develop links with thought-leaders and like-minded institutions.  

 

Requirements:  

• Possess relevant Master or Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• The candidate will need experience in 1) investing (mainstream/impact) or 2) consulting.
• Open to M&A cands from Big 4 firms with M&A and due diligence experience.
• Possess  strategic mindset, ability to think creatively, have a track record of leadership and be passionate about sustainable businesses.  
• Ability to lead, navigate and coordinate across diverse stakeholders  
• Creative, forward looking and results oriented
• Organized and detail-oriented, with strong people skills  
• Passionate about making a difference to the environment.
