Our client is a well-known investment company looking to grow its Legal & Regulatory team based in Singapore. The successful candidate will support the Regulatory function (under legal/compliance) in this perm role. The candidate’s principal responsibilities will include supporting the following Regulatory activities:
- Monitoring the group’s shareholdings for shareholder disclosure and other regulatory thresholds
- Administering the firm’s restricted lists
- Preparing shareholder disclosures and collating other regulatory filings e.g. merger filings
- Compiling and vetting information for regulatory filings
- Providing general administrative support on regulatory and/or compliance training for employees.
The candidate should ideally possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Diploma in law, business, accounting or related disciplines. (Please note that, although preferred, legal training is not a pre-requisite for this role.)
- Strong numeracy skills
- Attention to detail
- Well versed and high competency in MS Office, in particular Excel and PPT
Prior experience in a similar role at an investment bank or other investment or financial institution will be viewed favourably. Above all, we are looking for a candidate who is open to learning, proactive, energetic and motivated, and would be keen to join a growing team. |
